This is a show of encouragement, not a donation, appointment, or marketing signup. We do not ask for your name, email address, or medical information.
When you choose to support the project, we save a random browser identifier in first-party browser storage and a cookie. The cookie lasts up to one year; browser storage remains until you clear it. A hashed version of that identifier and the time of support are stored on the server to prevent repeat clicks from the same saved identity.
Only the total is displayed publicly. The total measures browser support, not verified unique people: another device, another browser, or clearing all site data can allow another submission.
Our hosting provider processes network requests. The support service temporarily uses network information for abuse limits. When enabled, a security check also helps reduce automated submissions. The application does not store IP addresses in the supporter database.
The count begins at zero and changes only after a server-confirmed submission. When the service is unavailable, we show an unavailable status rather than invent a number. Support records remain until the site owner removes or resets them.
